CRABS
This entire program was built for 2 reasons:
1. Maximum fun for ALL parties involved
2. Drastically increase creator channel subscribership through the use of the immersive and reactive marketing and audience cross pollination.
As a side benefit, there will be a cash prize to the program winner of $1000 minimum (our target is $10k). This depends on our sponsors. One focal point of CRABS is charitable giving, so teams can elect to donate to a charity if they want.

#1: CRABS Budget
Joining CRABS is FREE (just like catching real crabs)! For 2023, CRABS racing has a focus on a main event hosted by the 24 Hours of Lemons. This is known as a “$500 car race”, but don’t let that scare you, they will let your team race almost anything as long as it is safe. There is no cheaper track time than Lemons racing. Our series will allow for racing in your region, or travel to the official main event on the West coast! CRABS tracks our points and handles promotion of our build-off, and the racing is done entirely at a Lemons event this year!

This webpage is the “index” for everything CRABS! We’re experts in marketing merchandise. Our own merch store will include links to your merchandise store to help you sell more to your fans (and our fans).
Reactive E Mail Marketing
We will publish every creator’s videos in a digest/summary e mail that will go out bi-weekly or monthly. This campaign uses advanced logic to adjust sending frequency based on actual individual subscriber interaction to maximize clicks and watch time.
Cross Pollination
There is no audience more valuable than a vetted, focused audience in your video genre/space. That is what EVERY creator’s audience in CRABS Racing is! These ARE your viewers, and we will cross link them to your channel!

Team/Creator Requirments:
CRABS is FREE to join, no matter if you are a team/creator or a fan. The goal is to grow channels that have a positive impact on car culture and also benefit charity. Due to this goal, there are channel size limitations. You can still join another channel as a team member if your own YouTube channel doesn’t meet these requirements.
Channel Size: The absolute minimum YouTube channel size to form a new team is 30K Subs (or 15K subs with CRABS Sponsorship). That being said, we also must maintain a pretty high average subscribership per channel to make this platform work well for all parties involved. With this in mind, we will accept fewer “small” channels as the team list fills up. The ideal blend of variety without clutter will land CRABS racing with 15-20 teams and 10-20 million combined subscribers. This will provide the ideal fan experience. Anyone can join our Discord group/server and ask to join an existing team as a driver/fabricator/videographer at any time as well!
Being CRABBY: You must point back to CRABS in your videos. This is not for us, this is for all the channels you are trying to harvest subscribers from. If we all point back to CRABS, we all get to share subscribers. This is a 2 way street.
Keep it FUN and keep it clean: Making fun of each other’s crap-box race cars and pitiful performance is what will keep this fun. Fans love to see inter-channel interaction. Keep it clean and don’t get offended.
Charity: Every year, the CRABS series will include events that benefit charities. Some years the charity will be chosen by CRABS Racing, LLC, and other years the teams will choose. As succesful creators, we will give back to the community/environment that we thrive in.

2024 Season
CRABS in the DIRT!
2024 will be the year of the CrossKart! Teams/channels will build a cross cart and enter into short course offroad races across the country! No need to travel far, there are dirt cheap events close to you (put on by HooptieX). A fun crosskart can be built for well under $3k.
2025 Season
CRABS King of the Asphalt Triathalon
2025 will launch an expansion of our 2023 model! We will be adding options for formal Drag Racing (replacing your casual 0-60 time with a quarter mile ET at your local drag strip). We will also swap the burnout for a private (non tandem) Drift Event! Adding that to our endurance race yields THREE complete races to complete the triathalon.
How the Team List Works
Team List Order
The team list order is sorted into three groups as described here. Within those groups, the first teams to sign up get to be at the top of their section. Any teams that are not active may move down, as our goal is to promote content from creators, not be an ad space. RogueFab was the first sign up, helped organize the CRABS series, and was the first sponsor. Their channel would otherwise be in group 3, so they have agreed that they will NOT be staying at the top of this boad!
